Electrical Apparatus
, a standard-size (7" x 10") magazine, accepts three types of advertising:
- DISPLAY ADVERTISING
(black-and-white, two-color and four-color)
- Exact dimensions and current rates shown in
Media Kit. Sizes available:
- Full Page
(no charge for bleed)
- 2/3-page (vertical only)
- 1/2-page (vertical, horizontal or island)
- 1/3-page (vertical, square or horizontal)
- 1/4-page (vertical or horizontal)
- 1/6-page (vertical or horizontal)

Rates also available for 1/3-page, 1/2-page and full-page spreads.
Special insert rates also available. Designated special positions
inside the magazine (not covers) can be secured for
$450. Special cover rates apply to inside front cover, inside back cover and back cover; all cover positions are available for a minimum
of six times, and only for four-color.
- CLASSIFIED DISPLAY (CD) ADVERTISING
(black-and-white and two-color
only) - Classified Display ads appear in the Classified Section of Electrical Apparatus. Classified Display ads are single-column (2 3/16" wide) and can be one, two or three inches in depth.
Cost is $125 per inch. Second colors are
$150 additional per insertion.
Classified
Display advertisers must agree to place CD ads totaling at least 12 inches in depth within a 12-month period. (For example, 12 one-inch-deep ads in 12 consecutive issues, or 6 two-inch-deep ads in every other issue over
a 12-month period, or 4 three-inch-deep ads in selected issues over a 12-month period).
You have the flexibility to choose your exact
combination, adding up to 12 inches over 12
months.
A trial 3-inch ad may be run once within a
12-month period at a one-time rate of $500; this
one-time insertion can then be applied toward a
full, 12-inch CD contract, with appropriate

- CLASSIFIED ADVERTISING
(black-and-white
only). Straight lineage advertising appearing in the Classified section of Electrical Apparatus, charged by the column line (minimum five lines per ad), for categories such as Equipment for Sale, Business
for Sale, Help Wanted, Position Wanted, Business Opportunity, Wanted to Buy, Equipment/Services, Sales Representatives, Manufacturers' Representatives and Distributors Wanted. Confidential box number service available for
an additional $5 fee per insertion.

The ElectroMechanical Bench Reference (EMBR), the annual buyers' guide/directory published as a supplement to the December issue of
Electrical Apparatus, accepts display advertising (as described above for Electrical Apparatus). The EMBR
does not accept Classified Display or Classified Advertising, but offers special rates for display advertising to Classified Display advertisers in Electrical Apparatus.

| Commissions of 15% from published rates
will be granted to recognized agencies and in-house advertising departments, if camera-ready material is provided.
Closing dates for space reservations for Electrical Apparatus
are generally the 5th of the month preceding the issue date (for example, January 5th for the February issue).
Materials deadlines for new ads are generally the 12th of the month preceding the issue date. The closing date for space reservations for the ElectroMechanical Bench Reference
is generally the last day of October, with materials due a week later.

List Rental |
List rental of the Electrical Apparatus
circulation is available to active display advertisers only (at least one-third page of display advertising must have been placed, and paid for in full, within the year preceding a list rental order). The list rental order can be customized, using any combination of job function, business and industry classification, geographic region, or product purchasing influence. Minimum order $500. All orders are subject to publisher's approval. Full details on list rentals available with media kit.
