Induction Machine Design —Taking Theory to Practice

What’s covered:

Course content includes induction machine stator and rotor options, choosing core steel materials, non-linear magnetic analysis, how to achieve performance specs, coil design principles, computer models and using them to evaluate options, how to maximize efficiency or power density, testing and measurement methods, and the role of FEA and CAE software. Application examples include high efficiency machines, traction, and high speed. Additional contents are still evolving, more material will be added, and some material may be removed.
