A homemade smoker made from recyclable material
Texas Electric Equipment Co. (TEECO), shared an excellent piece of shop D-I-Y with us this week, just in time for cookout season.
Steve Hoerner managed one of the more creative feats of the year so far in making this smoker from almost 100% recyclable material.
An EASA member approaching the 50 year-mark, TEECO is located in LaPorte, Texas and has been family-owned since 1973.
"This smoker was made by co-worker Steve Hoerner and is truly a work of art," President Ed Hoerner told EA. "Everything but the gauges are made from recyclable material,
The main part is a from an 100HP ODP Fire pump motor that we replaced."
