Ukraine's ammunition reaching "bottom of the barrel" per report
Admiral Rob Bauer, NATO's most senior military official, told the Warsaw Security Forum earlier this week that "the bottom of the barrel is now visible" when it comes to Ukraine's ammunition supply.
He said governments and defense manufacturers now had to "ramp up production in a much higher tempo" in order to keep pace with the everyday demands of the war with Russia, which is entering its 20th month.
A majority of Ukraine's ammunition is supplied by the United States. U.S. defense manufacturers will likely prepare for increased production, meaning those who have maintenance contracts with them should be on alert for increased workloads, as well.
