Turkiye, Syria devastated as relief efforts prove mostly futile
A series of earthquakes and aftershocks, the first two over 7.5 in magnitude on the Richter scale, devastated an area of southern Turkiye and northern Syria on February 6, killing at least 15,000 to this point and triggering a vast humanitarian crisis. Construction and electrical teams from the countries and abroad were attempting to help look for survivors as of press time for this issue.
Electrical Apparatus will continue to update this item as more details become available. Our thoughts and prayers go out to all the people and families affected by this disaster. You can help by donating to organizations like the Red Cross and Doctors Without Borders.
