Flouramics new full density tapes now available
Flouramics has released two new products under its name brand and LOX-8 brands: A full density thread seal tape for gas and another full density thread seal tape used for multi-purpose applications requiring FDA compliance.
The first Flouramics full density thread seal tape is engineered for use in gas line applications. Built from the same high-performance base as the company's oxygen-approved tape, this yellow version is easy to identify and approved for use in natural gas, propane, and other hydrocarbon gas systems. This product is available in 1/2" x 260".
Secondly, the LOX-8 full density thread seal tape (FDA-approved) is a chemically inert, multi-purpose pipe sealing tape designed for use in applications requiring FDA compliance.
Made from the same premium material as the company's oxygen-approved green tape, it offers extreme temperature resistance and is silicone-free for clean system integrity. The product is available in 1/4"x260", 1/2"x260", 3/4"x520".
Below is an old plumbing fitting that was recently removed. When installed, the customer used just two wraps of LOX-8 Full Density Thread Seal Tape, Flouramics says. Several years later, even after the fitting was taken apart, the tape showed no tearing, peeling, or shredding.
