New bearings from this respected company are designed for marine applications

Citing customer feedback as the impetus, WorldWide Electric says it has "optimized [its] single-bearing generators to specifically meet the demands of small marine vessels," per a press release sent to Electrical Apparatus earlier this week.

"Engineered to withstand extreme conditions such as 50°C temperatures, high humidity, and saltwater exposure, these generators provide exceptional performance and reliability. Best of all, they are in stock and ready to ship," the company added.

Specifications include the following:

• 7.5 - 99kW rated to 50° C

• 4-2100 kW rated to 40° C

• Brushless 4 pole at 1800 RPM

• 60 Hz power at 1800 RPM

• 50 Hz power at 1500 RPM

• Single-phase or three phase

Additionally, WorldWide uses epoxy-coated windings that provide a strong mechanical bond, ensuring that the wires are securely held in place and protected against the rigors of wet environments, resulting in a product well-suited for demanding applications where exposure to tough conditions is common.
