IPS fattens up with acquisition of Southland businesses
IPS (Integrated Power Services) acquired Southland Electrical Group, the power management service provider, it announced February 2. Founded in 1987, Southland has facilities across four cities in the Southeastern U.S., including headquarters and locations in Burlington, North Carolina; and locations in Birmingham, Alabama; Chattanooga, Tennessee; and High Point, North Carolina.
This adds to the list of recent IPS acquisitions broadening its presence nationwide, the most recent of which was its major addition of Evans Enterprises just last month.
