TVS, an international "e-mobility" specialist, expands its reach

TVS Motor Company, known as specialists in two- and three-wheeler manufacturing, said it plans to present new models at a press conference set for November 3. It's a business that reflects the current "e-mobility" industry; TVS makes electric scooters, e-bikes, mopeds, and three-wheel vehicles as well as the motorcycles pictured below.

TVS Motor Company serves 68 million customers in more than 90 countries. Its European operation is supported by innovation and design capability in India, Bologna (Italy) and the United Kingdom. Its four manufacturing plants are located in India (three of the four) and Indonesia.

The company also prides itself on sales and accolades: "We are the only two-wheeler company to have received the prestigious Deming Prize. Our products lead in their respective categories in the J.D. Power IQS and APEAL surveys. We have been ranked No. 1 Company in the J.D. Power Customer Service Satisfaction Survey for consecutive four years." But if you're into mini electric vehicles, lucrative companies like TVS are worth considering.
