AEGIS® Shaft Grounding Rings, developed by Electro Static Technology, are designed to protect electric motor bearings from electrical discharge damage. These rings are particularly useful in motors run by variable frequency drives (VFDs), which are prone to generating shaft voltages that can lead to premature bearing failure.
