Schneider finalizes purchase of EV charging company


The latest in meshing OEMs with new tech in the interest of digital transformation? Schneider Electric's acquisition of EV Connect, a comprehensive EV infrastructure facilitator that helps link various charging brands.



EV Connect, Inc., an El Segundo, CA electric vehicle charging company, announced June 21 that it has been acquired by Schneider Electric, prominent force in energy management and automation. With a strong foundation in sustainability and eMobility, Schneider Electric's acquisition of EV Connect will enable the company to accelerate its growth, according to a press release. Along with the current management team, CEO and founder Jordan Ramer will continue to lead EV Connect's operations as a distinct subsidiary, with continued focus on customer service and the company's overall mission.
