Malloy Electric joins AGMA (Gear Manufacturers)

Malloy Electric, a corporation based in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, announced a new membership with the American Gear Manufacturing Association (AGMA) September 9th, one that it describes as "pivotal".

AGMA is the global network for technical standards, education, and business information for manufacturers, suppliers, and users of mechanical power transmission components.

Malloy, a long-standing member of The Electrical Apparatus Service Association (EASA) for electric motor service and repair, felt motivated to join the 108-year-old AGMA based on the additional needs of programming, networking events, webinars, committees, and more that cover the latest technology in gearing, power transmission, and drivetrain. Like EASA, the membership is exclusive and represents being part of the expert voice shaping an industry.

Malloy is renowned for its commitment to motor service and repair. “Our gearing solutions enhance our ability to be a comprehensive partner for our customers, unmatched in the Midwest,” stated Malloy VP Aaron Wentzel. Wentzel continues, “We’re dedicated to understanding and addressing our customer’s needs. Our proactive approach ensures we offer the right solutions at the right time—trusting Malloy to be your reliable partner in motor service, repair, and gearing solutions.”

Malloy is also a leader in the power transmission industry, and by joining AGMA, their team will have access to additional resources in education, emerging technology information, standards development, networking with all parts of the supply chain, and more,” said Rebecca Brinkley, Senior Director, Membership, AGMA. “I know Malloy looks forward to bringing their expertise to the table and showcasing the solutions they offer as a trusted repair facility while learning alongside the greatest manufacturers from around the globe with quality at the forefront of what they continue to do.”

While expanding into new geographical markets, Malloy sees expansions into different product applications and services as equally necessary in the quickly shifting market. Correlational major capital expansions will be publicly released before the first quarter 2025.
