ZF Aftermarket announces new EV repair kits

ZF Aftermarket, a German company, is advancing its "Maintain-Repair-Replace" strategy with new targeted repair options for electrified drivetrains, according to a recent press release from the company.

This will reportedly include new repair solutions for e-motors, hybrid modules, inverters, mechatronics and electric drive unit reducers. ZF’s overarching parts portfolio for electric vehicles covers 92 percent of Europe’s Top 20 EV parc, with expanded support for emerging vehicle brands planned from 2027.

At Automechanika Frankfurt 2026, ZF Aftermarket underlined how electric mobility can become more serviceable for the independent aftermarket. With its Maintain-Repair-Replace approach, the company is enabling workshops to carry out targeted component-level repairs on electrified drivetrains, while OE-quality remanufactured options are available when replacement is the more appropriate route.

Together with its aforementioned EV parts range in Europe, ZF is helping workshops reduce complexity, avoid unnecessary full assembly replacement and support electrified vehicles throughout their lifecycle.
