Florida company Suncoast launches a web of charging stations

Suncoast Charging Corporation announced the official launch of its EV charging network, beginning with its first electric vehicle DC fast charging station in Land O’Lakes, Florida, the Tampa company said in a Nov. 26 press release.

The station officially marks the beginning of Suncoast Charging’s network buildout planned for 2026 and beyond. Serving up to eight vehicles simultaneously and featuring up to 325 kW fast chargers, it marks a major milestone in Suncoast’s strategic effort "to provide reliable and high-performance EV infrastructure at premium, customer-driven destinations."

This particular station also reportedly holds the title of "the first charging station in North America to operate under Tesla’s newly launched Supercharger for Business program," Suncoast added in the press release.

Simultaneously, the company named David Patrick, a well-respected leader in the electric mobility industry, and Wesley Sima, who has grown various clean energy businesses over the past decade, as co-founders of the launch.

Suncoast Charging is also proud to partner with 5801 Print House, a locally owned design and print business, on custom charger print designs highlighting the local wildlife that is native to the surrounding area of each charging station.

Looking ahead, Suncoast will continue building on this momentum with plans to add around 20 new stations in 2026.
