Celebrating National Welding Month this April

April is National Welding Month, and there are plenty of fabricators, metalworkers, and artists out there who deserve recognition. The American Welding Society is making sure they get it.

Since 1996, the American Welding Society has designated the month of April as National Welding Month to bring awareness to the welding industry and its available career paths.

Welding careers, AWS argues, "are integral to keeping people safe and advancing the quality of life across the globe," yet participation in welding and other skilled trades continues to decrease. To celebrate the vast and diverse welding community, events for National Welding Month 2023 will revolve around this year’s theme: "Be Part of the Future of Welding". This includes a number of offers worth checking out, including gift card offers for new members; a 35% discount off list and member prices for the Welding Handbook print version; and self-paced online courses and Professional Development Webinars being offered at a 15% discount throughout April.
