Indiana company introduces a new respiration product for welders

Fronius, the Portage, Indiana welding equipment manufacturer, is delivering a new certified respirator solution for clean, breathable air: the Vizor Air/3X, in an effort to ensure safety and quality on the job.

Designed with welders in mind, this light-weight wearable device delivers a steady stream of clean air so professionals can focus on precision without compromise.

With a history of welding innovation and technology, Fronius added this new product to the U.S. market "to enhance the experience of welding alongside [the company's] welding product portfolio of welding machines," according to a press release emailed to Electrical Apparatus this week. The company says the product "delivers a steady stream of clean, refreshing air to aid in shielding welders from particles and fumes, while enhancing both safety and comfort on the welding task at hand," with these key features:

• NIOSH certified

• Powerful lithium-ion battery for long operating time

• Smart filter detection system

• Three airflow levels: 6.0, 7.4, and 8.5 CFM

• Ergo harness included for even weight distribution
