Grassroots "Hire360" organization opens training hub in Chicago
A small operation based in Chicago, HIRE360 recently opened its Training and Business Development Center, which it describes as "a state-of-the-art facility designed to reshape workforce diversity in Chicago’s construction and trades industries."
The center's opening, championed by a number of prominent Illinois politicians such as Gov. J.B. Pritzker and Mayor Brandon Johnson, has been met with mixed reaction so far.
While there isn't any updated information provided by Hire360 on the details at this moment, the most recent available press release from the company described as a:
"$3 million investment in HIRE360’s new training and development center in Chicago’s South Loop neighborhood. The HIRE360 Training & Business Development Center, a 40,000-square-foot space supported by $2 million in state funding and $1 million of federal funds, will include conference and meeting spaces, networking and education, working space for 37 trades, a playroom and parents center for working professionals, two commercial training kitchens, retail space for diverse suppliers, event space and more.”
