High Volta

Last chance to register for this late February energy conference in the Bay Area

In partnership with Stanford University, the Volta 2026 conference is set for February 26-28 out in the San Francisco Bay Area. It's one of only a few events that have zeroed in on one of the world's fastest-growing industries: battery storage. Volta convenes leaders across the battery supply chain and is billed as "a global stage for insight, innovation, and collaboration shaping the future of energy storage," by the Volta Foundation.

As energy storage becomes a pillar of industrial strategy - powering electric mobility, stabilizing renewable grids, securing defense capabilities, and enabling the AI economy - Volta 2026 "offers a platform for rigorous technical exchange and strategic insight," the parent foundation says.

Topics covered include advances in electrochemistry to the geopolitics of supply and the design of next-generation infrastructure. Key highlights for this year's show include:

  • Technical Breakthroughs Unveiled: Early access to cutting-edge research in cell chemistry, advanced manufacturing, recycling, and lifecycle performance - insights that set the pace for the next decade of innovation.

  • Strategic Industry Dialogue: A forward-looking platform where leaders confront not just the next technologies, but the systemic decisions - around infrastructure, regulation, and investment - that will define global battery strategy.

  • Connections That Accelerate: A rare opportunity to convene the full battery value chain - from labs to corporates to governments - forging the relationships and alliances that move the industry forward.
