Euro-centric MotionTech launches in the United States

MotionTech, a European leader in intralogistics and automation, is officially entering the United States market. The launch marks a significant milestone in the company’s international growth strategy and brings MotionTech’s proven portfolio of automation, packaging, storage and conveying technology closer to customers across North America.

To lead the expansion, MotionTech has appointed Kristian Hulgard as Executive Sales Director for the U.S. market, effective September 1, 2026. "Kristian is an experienced business builder with a strong track record of establishing and scaling commercial operations within the automation industry," the company said on its website alongside the announcement. "Based in the Dallas–Fort Worth area, he will lead MotionTech’s US business and drive the company’s next phase of growth in the region."

The initial focus of the US launch will be on bringing MotionTech’s end-of-line packaging, storage systems and conveying solutions to American customers, building on the automation and material-handling expertise that has made the group a trusted partner across Europe.

Over time, MotionTech says it "plans to build out a broader commercial and service presence in the United States, supporting customers throughout their automation journey and creating a strong local foundation for long-term growth."
