Waldom Awards for electromechanical products and more
Waldom Electronics (Rockford, Illinois) announced the winners of its 2024 ESG Awards October 23, which were presented during the company's annual dinner held ahead of the ECIA Executive Conference earlier this week.
Waldom says its series of awards represent "the only ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) recognition program in the IP&E (Interconnect, Passive, and Electromechanical) distribution industry, honoring supplier and distributor partners who demonstrate exceptional commitment to sustainability, environmental stewardship, and social responsibility."
“At Waldom, we believe that businesses can and should be a force for positive change,” said Don Akery, CEO of Waldom Electronics. “These awards highlight our shared commitment to reducing waste, driving efficiency, and fostering a circular economy that benefits the entire electronic components ecosystem.”

Through the ESG Awards, Waldom evaluates partners across multiple dimensions—including environmental impact, operational efficiency, and contribution to the industry—using a transparent scoring model that compares performance relative to peers. The awards also celebrate participants in Waldom’s Green Stock Program, which helps minimize excess inventory and reduce environmental waste across the supply chain.
