Training webinar coming up on June 19, presented by Megger
Mark your calendars for another free webinar available from the experts. This one is particularly suited for manufacturing engineers, motor shop professionals, and service contractors looking to deepen their understanding of PD testing and monitoring throughout a machine's service life.

Event information
Date: June 19th
Time: 10:00 am (Central Time)
Presenter: Andrea Martinez - Andrea earned both her B.S. and M.S. in Electrical Engineering from the University at Buffalo, where her research on partial discharge analysis led to multiple publications and a National Science Foundation Graduate Research Fellowship. She continued this work at Sandia National Laboratories before developing test equipment for major aerospace and defense programs at Moog, and now serves as an Applications Engineer at Megger, combining her expertise in partial discharge diagnostics and test systems.
Partial Discharge (PD) testing is a widely recognized method for assessing the insulation health of rotating machines, using charge magnitudes, pulse counts, and phase resolved PD patterns to detect faults before they cause failures. Testing can be performed at various stages of a machine's life — from offline factory or site acceptance tests that establish baselines and catch manufacturing defects, to periodic online testing that balances ease of use with technical insight, enabling a shift from time-based to condition-based maintenance.
Online monitoring takes this further by providing continuous real-time data, historical records, trigger-based alarms, and remote access, offering the most comprehensive view and maximum reaction time to developing faults.
All attendees are eligible to receive 1 NETA CTD, 1 PDH, or 0.1 CEU upon completion.
