Not to be outdone by higher-profile events, a solar show in Minneapolis took place this week
As you'll notice in the rest of this week's newsletter, EA contributors spent a lot of time at The Battery Show in Detroit over the past few days. However, that wasn't the only trade show relevant to our readers happening this week. EA advertiser WEG was one of many prominent companies featured at a solar conference in a separate Midwest state.
The Gateway to Solar Conference, hosted by the Minnesota Solar Energy Industries Association (MnSEIA), is one of the Midwest's biggest and best solar + storage conferences. Each year solar installers and developers, manufacturers, distributors, financiers, engineers, utilities, job trainers, trade unions, non-profits, government agencies, and more gather for quality networking, education, and fun off-site events.
WEG posted the following information on X while they were at the show:
"Looking to improve grid stability and energy efficiency? Visit WEG at Booth 14 during The Gateway to Solar Conference 2024 to explore how our advanced Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) integrate with renewable energy sources."
Proceeds from the Gateway Conference support MnSEIA’s year-round regulatory and policy work to protect and promote the growth of Minnesota solar + storage.
