FANUC is adding to its Auburn Hills, Michigan facility


FANUC America, a global leader in robotics and automation, is expanding its Michigan footprint and has built a 650,000+ square foot West Campus facility in Auburn Hills, Michigan.


The new facility was built on 67 acres of land which includes a soon-to-be renovated former law school building into a new state-of-the-art FANUC Academy customer training center. Together, the West Campus and FANUC Academy total 782,000 square feet of floor space. After the West Campus opens, FANUC America will occupy nearly two million square feet of operational space in Oakland County, Michigan.


The grand opening of FANUC America's new West Campus Wednesday, July 10 from 10-11:30 AM. It "represents a major milestone in the company’s five-year investment strategy across the U.S," according to a company statement, and "underscores the company’s unwavering commitment to the future of American manufacturing, contributing to economic growth in the region. In addition, it reinforces Michigan’s position as an advanced manufacturing hub."
