Ohio company to exhibit at Battery Show next month
Aurora, Ohio's Godfrey & Wing is exhibiting at The Battery Show North America 2023 from September 12-14 at booth #431 in Novi, Michigan. The Battery Show is the largest battery and electric vehicle (EV) technology trade show in North America. Godfrey & Wing is a leading, global provider of vacuum impregnation equipment, sealants and services.
Godfrey & Wing will also be showcasing their Imprex electric motor VPI technology. Godfrey & Wing designs and manufactures Imprex VPI systems to exacting customer specifications. Products range from small floor-mounted prototype systems to multi-chamber systems for serial production.
As a strategic partner for the world’s largest OEMs, Godfrey & Wing will showcase the competitive advantage of modern vacuum impregnation technology in EV manufacturing. With this technology, OEMs successfully and easily seal porosity. This ensures part quality, reduces costs and increases safety.
Manufacturers producing automotive components in materials such as die cast aluminum, electronics, and graphite trust Godfrey & Wing to identify proper vacuum impregnation sealants and processes, and to streamline those elements to existing production lines. This enables maximum recovery with clean and damage-free parts.
“As OEMs transition from ICE to EV, they will require higher performance requirements, and lower acceptable leak rates in their parts. As a result, these specifications and tighter requirements result in more parts being rejected and scrapped due to porosity.” Said Johnny Halladay, Sr. Business Manager. “This increases costs, robs capacity and delays production. With vacuum impregnation, manufacturers can meet quality requirements and ensure part quality.”
The Battery Show brings together engineers, business leaders, top-industry companies and innovative thinkers to discover ground-breaking products and create powerful solutions for the future. More than 15,000 attendees are expected.
