Duluth energy service company acquires Wyoming's Delta Wye

Duluth, Minnesota-based energy service company Wescom, Inc., announced the May acquisition of Wyoming-based electrical company Delta Wye.

With this acquisition, Wescom now has five offices and shops in five different states in continued pursuit of its "Energizing America" mantra.

“Wescom is thrilled to welcome in the Delta Wye team and join forces to provide continued top tier service to our clients through the new office in Gillette, Wyoming. Our entire team continues to be inspired by the team at Delta Wye, and their accomplishments over the last ten years,” says Wescom CEO, Shane Stolp. “Their commitment to their employees and clients, along for doing the right thing, makes them a perfect match for us at Wescom. Shared values allow us to integrate our expertise and provide added value to our clients while rewarding our combined team. The Powder River Basin, and entire state of Wyoming, is an exciting market for our combined team to operate in, and we look forward to showing our commitment through excellent service and high value to our clients.”

Delta Wye is an electric company based out of Gillette, Wyoming. They specialize in residential, industrial, commercial, mining and overhead power. Wescom will aid in these efforts by adding in their own expertise and expansive clientele in the region and surrounding areas. Wescom will continue to offer these services to Delta Wye’s existing clients and will look to expand their current client list.

“This merger is exactly what we need in order to give the best service to our existing clients and new customers down the road,” says Tiffany Massie, Delta Wye General Manager. “We have so much adoration for Shane and the rest of the leadership team who pushed for Wescom to become an ESOP. We are just excited to be a part of the team and ready to get to work!”

Wescom currently has offices in Minnesota, Wisconsin, North Dakota and New Mexico. The company employs electricians, automation technicians, mechanical laborers among others to provide services to oil & gas, mining, utility, municipal, manufacturing, solar and other major industries. "Our guiding principle is to safely Energize America through our top tier work ethic and hard-working employees," the company states.
